The Espresso Martini is a cocktail that typically includes vodka, coffee liqueur, and espresso, which all contribute to its distinctive flavor profile. Vodka serves as the base spirit, providing a clean and neutral backbone, while coffee liqueur adds richness and sweetness, enhancing the coffee notes. The fresh espresso is fundamental to the drink, delivering a robust coffee flavor that energizes the cocktail.

Lychee liqueur, while a delightful ingredient in many cocktails, is not included in the traditional recipe for an Espresso Martini. This ingredient has a different flavor profile that does not complement the coffee and vodka base of the drink. By omitting lychee liqueur, it allows the other ingredients to shine and maintain the intended taste of the Espresso Martini.

The inclusion of vodka, créme de cacao, and coffee liqueur in the options makes it clear that these are essential components of this classic cocktail.
